How To Connect Your Game Console

Connecting Your Game To A Wired Router

This setup is very simple. If you already have a router, all you need to do is connect the Game console's ethernet port to any one of the 1 - 4 ports on the back of the router using a Straight CAT5 cable. One of these probably came with the Game or the Router. If you don't have a cable, you can get one at Radio Shack, Wal-Mart, or by calling us (we will provide, set-up, configure, and support a wireless router for a nominal fee).

DO NOT connect it to the WAN or Internet port on the router.

If you have a 4 or 5 port Switch, it should function the same as a router for this application, just plug the two together and get online.

Connecting Your Game To A Wireless Router

This page assumes you already have a wireless network in your home and are using it for a wireless laptop, second desktop, etc.

You need to know your own Network Name, called an SSID, and, you need to know the encryption Key, also called a WEP or WPA key.

Follow the menus on your game to connect to your wireless network. Enter the SSID and Key, and get online!
